Statewide Coverage

PBS Hawaii's analog broadcast reaches more than 98 percent of Hawaii's households through a series of transmitters and translators stretched across the islands delivering our main Analog programming. In certain communities, PBS Hawaii is the only receivable signal, broadcast or cable.

Map of Hawaii

PBS Hawaii's digital broadcast in Honolulu carries our High-Definition (HD) programming and Create!, a Standard-Definition (SD) programmed channel of PBS How-To, Cooking and Travel shows.

PBS Hawaii's analog and digital multicast signals are on-air daily from 5 a.m. to around midnight.

While our analog broadcast is off the air, "PBS Direct," a supplemental PBS programming service, is made available to Oceanic Cable and its affiliated cable services. In addition, for Oceanic Cable's High-Definition subscribers, PBS Hawaii offers bonus HD programming from sign-off to sign-on. PBS Hawaii's High-Definition programming can be accessed on Channel 1010 through Oceanic Cable's HD digital set-top box.
