State budget cuts have forced the Department of Education to get creative. Making ends meet while still attempting to provide a quality education for Hawaii's children is a formidable challenge. Superintendent of Schools Patricia Hamamoto and Board of Education Chair Garrett Toguchi explain how they will meet the challenge.
