KALIHI – Mauka To Makai

The ahupua'a of Kalihi holds many stories... from the farms and taro lo'i on the mauka side of the area, to the fish ponds and the Kalihi Hospital and Detention facility which treated people afflicted with Hansen's disease.
On a rainy Sunday, I took a drive through the ahupua'a of Kalihi. From mauka to makai.
