On this Valentine’s Day and love-themed episode of HIKI NŌ, Pearl City High School seniors Saige Adaro and Olivia Faiola host from their campus on Oʻahu.

Students from Aliamanu Middle School on Oʻahu share their story of how they keep their family bonds strong throughout military deployments, and the HIKI NŌ mentor behind the story, Christi Young, talks about how she guided the students through the process of developing the story into its final form.

Students Ivy Yamamoto and Mina Suzuki from H.P. Baldwin High School on Maui share their visual essays about how their definition of love has evolved as they grow older.

Emily Hartshorn, a senior at Kapaʻa High School on Kauaʻi, tells her musical love story and how she navigates the ups and downs of recording an original rock album.

Pearl City High School students offer a How-To video that covers the rules of proper mask-wearing to prevent community spread of COVID-19, along with another How-To video about how to approach a school crush.
