Join us on Halloween for GREAT PERFORMANCES AT THE MET for a ghostly tale of a ship captain doomed to sail the seas for eternity. This maritime myth goes back hundreds of years, and is captured in the 187-year-old opera Der fliegende Holländer (The Flying Dutchman). Francois Girard’s production of the opera stars Evgeny Nikitin (pictured) in the title role, opposite Anja Kampe in her Met debut. Valery Gergiev conducts.
