Director of Grant Support – Full-time

Seeking a goal-oriented self-starter to obtain grant funding and ensure grants compliance in a collegial, supportive environment at Hawaii’s statewide public television station.  Duties include developing and cultivating existing and new relationships with local and national Foundation families and administrators, researching and identifying grant prospects to further the station’s equipment and project goals, tracking funder requirements, and deliverables.  Also responsible for completing all administrative tasks necessary to ensure grant compliance and reporting requirements.

Ideal candidate will have a track record of fundraising success.  Must be self-motivated, able to work well with internal staff as well as external funders, and possess time management skills to accommodate deadlines.  Proficiency with Microsoft applications also required. Director of Development – Full-time

PBS Hawai‘i seeks a full-time Director of Development to lead our ongoing fundraising operations and to design and execute a fundraising game plan. The Development Director must be an experienced fundraiser and a self-directed team member who cultivates strong relationships with donors to deepen engagement, help build PBS Hawaiʻi’s visibility, and increase support. The position involves designing, developing, and implementing strategies that will grow donations from individuals, corporations, and foundations.

Requires excellent writing and interpersonal skills, a strategic mind, teamwork and organization, and a proven ability to raise funds. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. Experience working at a nonprofit is a must. We are an equal opportunity employer.
