Lady Antebellum

 

With a new sense of history and possibilities, Lady Antebellum’s sixth studio album HEART BREAK had the group on a new mission — setting aside time to put themselves in new surroundings, and concentrate on writing and exploring musical endeavors with no distractions. With busbee in the producer’s chair, the trio had a hand in writing eleven songs on HEART BREAK, resulting in their most intimate and heartfelt work to date.

Falsettos

 

Nominated for five 2017 Tonys, this musical presents a look at a modern family, set in the 1980s amidst the emerging AIDS crisis. Christian Borle stars as Marvin, with Stephanie J. Block as his ex-wife, Trina, and Andrew Rannells as his lover, Whizzer.

 

Hamilton’s America

 

Go behind the scenes into the creation of Hamilton, Lin-Manuel Miranda’s musical about U.S. founding father Alexander Hamilton. This documentary includes excerpts from the New York production with its original cast, and trips to Mount Vernon and Valley Forge with Miranda and other cast members.

 

GREAT PERFORMANCES AT THE MET
Nabucco

 

Metropolitan Opera Music Director James Levine conducts Verdi’s early drama of Ancient Babylon, with Plácido Domingo adding a new role to his repertory as the title character. Liudmyla Monastyrska sings the role of Abigaille, Nabucco’s willful daughter, with Jamie Barton as Fenena, Russell Thomas as Ismaele, and Dmitry Belosselskiy as the prophet Zaccaria.

 

GREAT PERFORMANCES AT THE MET
La Traviata

 

Sonya Yoncheva sings the role of the tragic courtesan Violetta in Verdi’s classic, with Michael Fabiano as her ardent lover Alfredo and Thomas Hampson as his disapproving father Germont. This revival of Willy Decker’s staging is conducted by Nicola Luisotti.
