Meet the Last Living Member of Block 42

Mr. Tanimoto’s Journey tells the story of Jim Tanimoto, an American citizen who, during World War II, was unjustly imprisoned at Tule Lake Segregation Center in California. One of the approximately 120,000 persons of Japanese descent who were placed in internment camps across the country, Tanimoto is the last living member of a group of men at Tule Lake Camp known as Block 42, who bravely protested the loss of their constitutional rights.
