The owner of the iconic Hula’s Bar and Lei Stand in Waikīkī, Law grew up in Detroit, Michigan and moved to Oʻahu in 1966 to attend the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. But school was short-lived, as he made friends and decided to pursue his dream of working in the entertainment industry. Law was a founding member of the Life Foundation, a pioneer nonprofit in focusing on the needs of those with HIV/AIDS.
