Several candidates are vying for the Democratic nomination for State House District 28, which includes the Honolulu neighborhoods of Iwilei, Chinatown and Sand Island. The seat was formerly held by Democrat Daniel Holt, who was appointed to a position within the Department of Land and Natural Resources.
