HIKI NŌ on PBS Hawaiʻi 2026 Winter Compilation Show
HIKI NŌ on PBS Hawaiʻi

On this episode of HIKI NŌ on PBS Hawaiʻi, watch a special collection of stories produced by students during the show’s 2026 winter season.

Stories explore family legacies, grand murals, and how hula heals in Lahaina, Maui.

We’ll also revisit a hydroponics tutorial produced by some of our youngest HIKI NŌ students, a school-based shark research initiative on the Big Island, and explore how youth in Waiʻanae are giving back to their community.

Schools featured include Waiāhole Elementary School, Honowai Elementary School, Waiʻanae High School and Moanalua High School on O’ahu, West Hawaiʻi Explorations Academy and Hawai’i Preparatory Academy on Hawai’i Island, and Lahaina Intermediate School on Maui.

The show’s host is Izaya Edmonds, a junior at West Hawaiʻi Explorations Academy on Hawaiʻi Island.
