Marcus Mariota Donates $5,000 to PBS Hawaiʻi’s #PBSHAWAIIneighbor challenge

(HONOLULU, HI) – Las Vegas Raider Marcus Mariota donates $5,000 to PBS Hawaiʻi and its #PBSHAWAIIneighbor challenge through his Motiv8 Foundation.

According to Marcus, “I appreciate how PBS Hawaii’s educational programs and resources help our youth and make learning fun. That’s why I am a supporter.”

First Hawaiian Bank matched the donation with a $5,000 gift to PBS Hawaiʻi.

The goal of #PBSHAWAIIneighbor challenge is to raise awareness and funds for the locally owned, statewide television station. Monies raised from the campaign will go to support convening diverse voices of Hawaiʻi in a trusted space.

The homegrown musical fundraiser runs through December 4. There is still time to donate. Donors wishing to give to the #PBSHAWAIINEIGHBOR challenge may do so at: www.pbshawaii.org/neighbor.

A video playlist with over 30 participating Hawaii artists and local residents can be found at pbshawaii.org.
