Programming Update

PBS Hawaiʻi channel KHET 11.2 (Oʻahu), KMEB 10.2 (Maui), and Dish Network channel 12 ceased broadcasting on January 21, 2026.

This decision was not made lightly. Like many PBS stations, PBS Hawaiʻi has had to make difficult choices to balance programming costs, operations, and a changing financial reality in order to ensure the long-term sustainability of our organization.

NHK World programming continues to be available on our main channel:

• Weekdays: 1:00–3:00 pm and 5:00–6:00 pm
• Channels: KHET 11.1 (Oʻahu), KMEB 10.1 (Maui), Dish Network channel 11
• Additional NHK World programming airs on weekends.

Viewers can also watch a 24/7 live stream of NHK World for free on our website at
https://pbshawaii.org/nhk-world-japan/ or through the NHK World app.

PBS Kids programming remains available 24/7 on:

• KHET 11.3 (Oʻahu)
• KMEB 10.3 (Maui)
• Dish Network channel 10
