For nearly six decades, our PBS Hawaiʻi program guide has been a trusted companion for viewers across the islands. Long before streaming menus and digital reminders, printed program guides were how audiences discovered what was coming up on television. Flipping through the pages helped families plan their evenings, circle must-watch programs, and learn more about the stories and people featured on air.
Even in today’s digital world, program guides remain important. For many viewers, especially longtime supporters, the guide is also a tangible connection to the station and a reminder of the role public media plays in strengthening community, education, and culture.
The PBS Hawaiʻi program guide is mailed each month to station donors as a thank you for their support. Viewers can also find program listings online at pbshawaii.org.
We’ll be sharing more program guides throughout the year, so please check back again for more Program Guide Rewinds!
