This film follows Isaac Hoʻopiʻi of Waiʻanae in the years after he rescued victims from the Pentagon in the 9/11 attacks. Officials awarded Hoʻopiʻi for his bravery but deep down he struggled with depression, stress and guilt for not doing more. Others branded as heroes felt the same and there was little or no help for them. Hoʻopiʻi relied on the support of family and his love of music.
