INSIGHTS ON PBS HAWAIʻI

Hawaiʻi’s economic fallout from COVID-19 is the focus on this INSIGHTS. Tourism has restarted across the state but visitor numbers are nowhere close to pre-pandemic rates. And there’s still the task of balancing health and safety with the cost of financial shortfalls.

Scheduled guests include John De Fries, the new head of the Hawaiʻi Tourism Authority; State Rep. Scott Saiki, co-chair of the House Select Committee on COVID-19; Hawaii Food Bank President and CEO Ron Mizutani; Retail Merchants of Hawaii President Tina Yamaki; and Highway Inn restaurants owner Monica Toguchi.
