There are three candidates in a winner-take-all Democratic Primary for State House District 36 which covers Waipahu in Central Oʻahu. Candidates include Daisy Hartsfield, who was appointed to the seat when Rachele Lamosao was appointed to the State Senate. Eric Bartasan and Maurice Morita are challenging Hartsfield.
