A good journalist never shoots first, asks questions later. There are so many ways to tell a great story — asking questions first allows you to find the perfect one before you even press the record button. In this workshop, we’ll use real-time role play to pre-interview a subject, discuss several potential storylines, and identify the best one to help you conduct a focused, streamlined interview. See how a simple conversation can save you hours of excessive work, and learn how to map the rest of your story to create the perfect adventure for your viewers. Followed by Q&A to discuss stories attendees are working on. Walk away with confidence about how to focus your on-camera interview.
