In 1981, thousands of Lahainaluna High School alumni returned to campus to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the founding of the school, which was on September 5, 1831. PBS Hawaiʻi recorded the festivities and shared them in three episodes of Pau Hana Years. Part one included an interview with the oldest living graduate at the time.
