Students at Hawaiʻi Preparatory Academy Middle School on Hawaiʻi Island share their teacherʻs story about learning the Hawaiian language and how that plays a role in his life as a leader at their school today. In addition, an 8th grader also from Hawai’i Preparatory Academy shares a HIKI NŌ Student Reflection about his ‘ohanaʻs role in preparing for a traditional voyaging canoe sail.  

McKinley High School students on Oʻahu provide a practical HIKI NŌ How To story about saving money while you’re young.

On Maui, a young singer and songwriter is the focus of a profile piece from HIKI NO contributors at H.P. Baldwin High School.

Students at Kamehameha Schools Maui Middle School explore a new school-wide initiative to get out and walk “Miles for Smiles.”
