New Rules for Driver License Renewals
INSIGHTS on PBS HAWAIʻI
State Senators are considering a bill passed by the State House that would require anyone with a “moving violation or traffic infraction” within five years of renewing their driver’s license to finish a course that includes a written test about road safety rules. If passed, the law also would allow the state to create a system for random written testing of drivers applying to renew their license.
