Students at H.P. Baldwin High School on Maui share a story about a a local jewelry shop that aims to empower and employ people with disabilities.

Riley Taga, an 8th grader at Hawai’i Preparatory Academy and a young native Hawaiian student on the Big Island, shares his reflection on finding a greater connection not only to his heritage but to his beloved granny by learning the art of making lei.  

Jazalle Amps, a student at Kaʻu High and Pahala Elementary School on Hawaiʻi Island shares her story of discovering a love of poetry in a HIKI NŌ Student Reflection.

To close the show, Kylie Cardenas, a student at H.P. Baldwin High School on Maui, shares a HIKI NŌ Personal Narrative that will leave viewers thinking about life and its blessings.

Natasha Maafala, a senior at Waiʻanae High School, hosts the show.
